Sightseeing Trips

Our sightseeing trips are suitable for all ages, from those who are just looking to chill out for a couple of hours on this spectacular River System, to those who wish to soak up the surroundings and amazing bird life, both of these options ensure spectacular photo opportunities with the amazing backdrops all the while listening to a fascinating History of the Quay Port from its beginnings to its demise heard through the on-board PA system.

This is all before the highlight of the trip, which is our visit to the rivers colony of Grey Seals. This Colony of about thirty Seals are resident in the Estuary all year, but their numbers fluctuate to about one hundred in the summer months to coincide with the return of the Salmon and Sea trout to spawn upstream of the Estuary of the River Moy System. At this time of year these particular Seals birth their young in the Estuary so that their nutrition is insured by the guaranteed supply of fish. During the summer these amazing creatures are visible on sandbanks above water level.
